Deudorix epijarbas Moore, 1857Cornelian

Subspecies in India:

(1) Deudorix epijarbas epijarbas Moore, 1857 – Oriental Cornelian. Two other names have been applied to Indian populations in the past (e.g., Evans 1932), but they should all be subsumed under the nominotypical subspecies: (1) Deudorix epijarbas ancus Fruhstorfer, 1912, and (2) Deudorix epijarbas amatius Fruhstorfer, 1912 (Kunte, in preparation).
